Back in late December I posted on the AQB 2nd Exposure draft on potential USPAP changes. In February the Appraisal Foundation's Appraisal Qualifications Board released its 3rd exposure draft of proposed changes for the 2010 -2011 edition of USPAP. The changes proposed will effect the following areas. The draft shows the changes and additions, and deletions from the previously released versions. The comment period is open until March 27th.
According to the drafts table of contents the proposed changes effect the following areas of USPAP.
Proposed edits to the DEFINITION of “Assignment”
Proposed edits to the DEFINITION of “Signature”
Proposed edits to the DEFINITION of “Jurisdictional Exception”
Proposed edits to the ETHICS RULE
Proposed edits to the COMPETENCY RULE
Proposed edits to the JURISDICTIONAL EXCEPTION RULE
Proposed edits to STANDARD 3, Appraisal Review, Development and Reporting
