Personal Property Appraisers Post

If you have not visited the new personal property appraiser post you should take a few moments to explore the new site. Web address is www.appraiserspost.com.

The new site has a growing list of contributors, now right around 25, while posts from professional appraisers are starting to show up. Some are for the beginner appraiser, while other content is for the more advanced appraiser. There is something for all appraisers, and as the site grows, and the posts multiply, the archives will be a very interesting and useful part of the site.

Recently there have been posts by:
  • Francine Proulx, ASA, ISA AM on Marketing in a Down Economy
  • Robert Corey, PH.D. on using indexes for adjusting comparable property values
  • Jerry Sampson starting a series on creating and maintaining an appraisal library
  • Corinne Caine, ASA of new Navajo rugs which appear to be old
  • Daphne Rosenzweig, Ph.D., ISA CAPP listing Asian Ceramic web sites that may be useful to the appraiser
More appraisers are getting ready to post as well. So take a few minutes, explore the site, read some of the posts, the contributor bios, and feel free to post a comment. We also hope to work with many of the personal appraiser organizations to help promote their educational opportunities and programs. A few longer feature articles are also being planned.

Bookmark the Appraisers Post site as a favorite and visit often www.appraiserspost.com.
