ISA Conference Toronto

The ISA annual conference is in full swing and going extremely well with a great group of appraisers and some excellent speakers and presentation.  Weather has been excellent.

On Friday evening the Foundation for Appraisal Education has a small reception for the publication of the Journal of Advanced Appraisal Studies (see images).  The crowd was strong as were sales of the journal. In addition to Foundation board members, authors and ISA leadership, we also had Sharon Rollins, the personal property chair of ASA on hand. I have had a lot of positive feedback on the content of the 2010 Journal, plus we have also had good sales of the 2008 and 2009 edition.  If you have not ordered your copies yet, visit www.appraisaljournal.org.

Last night we had a great reception held by Bonham's of Canada at their great location in downtown Toronto with Bonham's Canada President Jack Kerr- Wilson and other specialist.

I am off to Mastering the Art of Useful Appraisals" An Insurer's Perspective with Vivian Ebersman of AXA Art NY and Ann-Louise Seago, of AXA Toronto. Later this afternoon I will attend the Science Meets Art with Janice Passafiume MAC, CAPC of Jana Fine Art and Maire Cluade Corbeil, PhD of the Canadian Conservation Institute.

I will be heading back home on Tuesday afternoon after the ISA Board Meeting. Will try to post more if I can find the time and energy.
