Sotheby's Announces Earnings Conference Call

Sotheby's announced they will be holding an earnings conference call ton August 3 at 4:45 pm EDT to report their second quarter and first half earnings.  Christie's although privately held (see my AW post Christie's Surging Sales Results), recently announced their extremly strong first half 2011 results, and I would expect Sotheby's to be posting positive earnings results as well.  The call will be hosted by Sotheby's President Bill Ruprecht and Chief Financial Officer Bill Sheridan.

July 27, 2011, New York -- Sotheby's (NYSE: BID) will be holding its second quarter ended June 30, 2011 earnings conference call on Wednesday, August 3, 2011. The call will be hosted by Bill Ruprecht, President and Chief Executive Officer, and Bill Sheridan, Chief Financial Officer, at 4:45 PM EDT. The call will consist of a brief discussion of the Company's results followed by a question and answer period.
