ANA Textile Seminar for March 11


Reminder to West Coast Appraisers.

The Appraisers National Association will be holding a seminar on March 11, 2012 entitled Understanding Textiles, presented by Belinda Belisle.  The seminar will be at the Holiday Inn and Suites in Anaheim CA.

I know it is still several months away but you might wish to mark your calendars, especially appraisers on the West Coast.  Contact and presentation info is below.
UNDERSTANDING TEXTILES

BELINDA BELISLE has studied textiles for over 20 years. She is a certified textile appraiser and teaches a certificate program in textiles. Belinda is an award winning lace maker, restorer, and speaker. Course work at the Campbell Center for Historical Preservation Studies in Illinois was completed by Belinda. Belinda holds a degree from California State University at Long Beach – with a Specialization in Textiles. She is the head of the Textile department at the College for Appraiser and member of several guilds including "The London Lace Guild".
