Favor In Locating Comps

I had an interesting discussion with a fellow appraiser last week about provenance and determining provenance premiums. I offered to ask AW Blog readers if they had any documented sales information (either retail or auction) of furniture which was once owned by one of the top five or ten American Colonial era historical figures .  He is looking for comps on furniture once owned by such figures as Washington, Jefferson, Adams, Franklin, Madison, Hamilton, etc.
