Art-Care

It has been a while since I posted on Art-Care, the online directory for appraisers, conservators, and other professional art  and collector related services.

Last time I posted about Art-Care we saw a great number of Appraiser Workshop Blog readers sign up for the free service. If you qualify, and have not yet singed on, I would highly recommend visiting the site and listing your professional art related services. Currently the Art-Care site lists over 300 providers.


Art-Care is free listing service for appraisers and conservators as well as related
services and fields.  Designated appraisers belonging to ISA, ASA and AAA as well as conservators with designations from American Institute for Conservation and International Institute for Conservation (IIC) are welcome to join.  The site allows for a personalized listing with contact information as well as images and links back to your own site sites.

The Art-Care.com site is well designed, and easy to navigate for potential clients and I am pleased to promote it and to encourage fellow appraisers to visit the site and sign up for a free listing and to take advantage of the new video feature.

Art Care is an established site and has been active for nearly 10 years, the listing is free and provides an excellent service for collectors as well as appraisers and conservators.  Go to www.art-care.com to register for free.

Art-Care is an interactive web site designed as a tool to aid art and artifact owners in making informed decisions when selecting a qualified conservator, appraiser, or any other necessary art related service provider.

It is also designed to aid the art service providers in private practice  who have been designated as professionals by their National Associations by providing a means for these recognized professionals to market their services, advertising individually and as a group with a national presence.

Three Professional Directories; Conservation, Appraisal, and Art-related services appear as listings and have a layered structure for clients to sort by specialty, geographic location and study members individual promotional brochures. This “one stop shopping” allows owners and custodians to easily find a variety of specialists and service providers, often difficult to find and study by comparison.

Member Brochures for marketing services are encouraged to enhance individual on line listings. They are easily created by logging in and submitting descriptive text with images illustrating their services, ethics, and background with a link to their own web page.
