ISA Webinar on Antique Frames

The International Society of Appraisers has teamed with ISA Affinity Business Partner Eli Wilner & Company in presenting an informative webinar entitled Reclaiming a Masterpiece: Recreating the Original Frame for Washington Crossing the Delaware.

The Webinar is scheduled for December 15th at noon. The registration fee is a reasonable $50.00. The webinar is hosted by Suzanne Smeaton. The Eli Wilner & Company frame historian, Smeaton will discuss the recreation of the lost carved frame and also valuation questions such as condition, rarity, appraisal methodology and scholarship.

This is the first in a series of ISA webinars developed in collaboration with ISA Affinity Business Partner members. As a practicing appraiser it is so pleasing to see ISA's continued progressive push to be the leader in appraisal theory and methodology by promoting and collaborating with industry recognized experts to make available educational opportunities for all personal property appraisers through its online learning management system.  I certainly appreciate the balance ISA is striking by not only presenting webinars hosted by expert ISA members, such as the recent Broad Evidence Rule program with Leon Castner, ISA CAPP, but now also reaching out to other professionals and experts in related fields through ISA Affinity Business Partner members.

According to the ISA website, "the ISA Affinity Business Partner (ABP) category of membership is an opportunity for companies who are not in the primary business of appraising to be formally associated with the International Society of Appraisers, the largest professional association of personal property appraisers in the United States and Canada.  ABP members enjoy targeted access to our 800+ members and share the common goal of providing the highest level of professional and ethical service to consumers of appraisal services".
