AAA Conference Oct 28-29

The AAA Annual Conference is just about 6 weeks away. It is being held Oct 28th & 29th at the New York Athletic Club, 180 Central Park South (at 7th Avenue).

The program again looks very interesting and has something for all appraisers from art market presentations to Connoisseurship, from Russian decorative arts to Southern Furniture.

The conference program certainly has something for all levels and categories for appraisers and numerous opportunities to learn more about some unique areas of appraising. I have attended many AAA conferences and I always come away with useful information for my appraisal practice, new business contacts and visits to the Met and MoMA. This year I want to make sure I visit the Met's Chippendale exhibit.

Conference registration is

Two-Day Registration

New York in October is tempting on its own, but add in the conference, several hundred professional appraisers, museums and restaurants and it is an event and conference not to be missed.
