Christie's Holding 20th Century Design Sales

Christie's is holding three 20th Century design sales this week at it New York showroom. AS many appraisers are aware, 20th Century design has become very popular with numerous young collectors and increasing values and scholarship.

The three Christie's sales are:

on Monday.

Important 20th Century Decorative Art & Design on Tuesday and

Important Works of Art FromTiffany Studios

It will be interesting to see if the catalog estimates and expectations of the 20th Century design sales will continue to have strong results, or will we see falling values and a lack of interest as in the modern and contemporary fine art sales. I am traveling for a couple of days, but I will try to get results and post as soon as I can.
