Foundation for Appraisal Education

The recent newsletter of the Foundation for Appraisal Education (publisher of the Journal of Advanced Appraisal Studies) announced some of the unique and great activities it has planned at the International Society of Appraisers annual conference in Charleston, SC, March 16-18.

The Foundation for Appraisal Education is a not-for-profit organization formed to promote the advancement of education related to personal property appraising. This includes providing instruction and training opportunities for individuals either seeking to improve their professional appraisal skills or to those seeking to enter the profession as a novice or student.

Here is a brief itinerary of the Foundation for Appraisal Educations activities:
  • 3/16/09 - Celebrity Appraisers Serve Drinks for tips at Rue de Jean Restaurant, 21 Rue de Jean Street, Charleston, SC from 4pm - 6pm
  • Also Book signing 2009 Edition - "Journal of Advanced Appraisal Studies" available.
  • 3/17/09 - "Sex and the City: Its Affect on Fashion" Lecture / Cocktail event 7 -9pm, same location as above, $35.00 per person.
The activities and fundraisers sound like they should be fun, entertaining, and educational. If you plan on attending the ISA Annual Conference make sure to join the fun and entertaining activities and support the Foundation for Appraisal Education and the Journal of Advanced Appraisal Studies.
