ISA Conference

Full room for IRS Art Appraisal Services member Joseph Bothwell

The ISA annual conference has been a fantastic event for both ISA and the Foundation for Appraisal Education.

The speakers were excellent and the networking was fantastic. The conference saw over 220 personal property appraisers descend on Nashville and the Gaylord Opryland convention center.

I am extremely pleased with the sales and reception for the Journal of Advanced Appraisal Studies - 2011. Guest speaker Leigh Keno mentioned the excellent content and professional contributions of the journal in his presentation, including a slide of the cover page. The Foundation for Appraisal Education had a terrific evening celebration and fund raiser which was a overwhelming success, raising much needed funds for scholarships and appraisal education. The guest auctioneer was Lee Dunbar who was a lot of fun and kept the auction moving and raising money.

At the awards luncheon, I am pleased to say I won the President's Award and also presented Logan Adams an award from the Foundation of Appraisal Eduction for her excellent work copy editing the Journal all four years and for her article contributions.
