Free Appraisal Videos

Author and appraiser David Maloney has recently been developing and producing a series of excellent You Tube videos for personal property appraisers.  Dave is known for his comprehensive appraisal resource book, Appraising Personal Property: Principles and Methodology.

The growing collection of videos is an excellent resource for both the new and experienced appraiser.  Dave adds to the video library on a regular basis, so it is worth  either following the channel or checking in on a regular basis to see what has been newly added.  The appraiser training videos range in time from a quick 4 minute overview all the way up to a detailed half an hour for more challenging topics.

See below for the latest videos available on the site.  Topics range from a discussion on the questionable designation use by appraisers of "USPAP Certified" to understanding scope of work and problem identification.
