Maloney Publishes 4th Edition of Appraising Personal Property

David Maloney has just published his 4th edition of Appraising Personal Property: Principles and Methodology.  This is a must have resource book for every personal property appraisers library.  I refer to it on a regular basis, it is easy to use, has a great index, it is current with USPAP and the text/content covers all important and significant areas of appraising.  The numerous examples and sample documents re excellent. This  new 4th edition is expanded with additional topics and refinements within its 570 pages.

I am pleased to see more and more offerings of books and articles from the personal property profession.  Recently Judith Vance's book, Seeing Things on appraising art was published, and the Journal of Advanced Appraisal Studies will soon publish its 4th annual edition. These offerings along with David's Appraising Personal Property all enhance and promote the professionalism of appraising. We as appraisers should support and applaud these efforts.
